As if loving what you do for a living wasn’t enough, today I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a grateful patient all the way in Denmark. Thank you so much to Klaus and little Rasmus for this incredibly generous and unexpected surprise! This happens so infrequently in a researcher’s life that the delivery man made me worry I’d forgotten my anniversary! I can’t wait to see what this year holds for LCA1 and all the wonderful families like yours!
