The Boye lab had many firsts at this year’s ARVO conference in Denver. Miranda White gave her first platform presentation. Sadly it was concurrent with mine and I missed it, but several little birdies tell me she did a great job! Dr. Shreyasi Choudhury did a great job presenting her first poster since joining the lab. We left this year’s meeting feeling scientifically aglow with ‘girl power’! With presentations/meetings behind us, we were also able to venture out to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and visit Red Rocks park and amphitheater and photograph wild bison. All in all, a fantastic trip!
